Sony 28-70mm f3.5

My camera gear is all relatively new to me and something I'm still figuring out. I went with the A7 because of the mirrorless technology and how compact it is. As far as bodies go I think it all boils down to personal preference and budget. I've seen some incredible pictures on fairly old cameras where people just happened to be in the right place at the right time. If you're going to spend one camera gear, I'd definitely recommend investing in some quality lenses. Make sure you have a wide angle lens (something in the 14mm-24mm range) as I've found the majority of landscape and adventure photography is shot fairly wide. I'd also recommend investing in a decent circular polarizer filter. It will help cut reflection and boost your contrast and really make your colors pop. The trick is finding the balance of less is more. You can get away with quite a bit with a solid wide angle lens and a good polarizer. Overall, just get out there! I've found my best shots happened when I least expected it and I was simply out in nature.
