I can't say enough about this lens. It is one of cannons masterpieces. The glass in this lens gives me such amazing shots. It is very durable and also water resistant. I've dropped it a couple times and nothing has happened to it at all. Although it is a little bit heavy but that is due to its craftsmanship. So shooting with this all day you are going to want to put it on a tripod at some point. This lens is awesome for landscapes that you might be a little bit too far away to capture. Wildlife. Or even portrait work if you want to play with it in the studio. It is also great for high-speed things like surfing contest or photographing sports events.
