This lens is one of the best lenses I think Canon makes. Shooting 35mm you can really play with it on landscape or portrait. You can photograph people and it won't distort them that much but it will still give you a nice wide angle to work with. Shooting video or stills with this lens is a pleasure. The shots you are going to get are going to be amazing. With razor sharp focus and Crisp detail.
